Did they were real lovers in real life? Their hearts were full of
those emotions of Firing Love. Had they always remained on top of their success? Was their
life always full of happiness and love? If they were in love with someone, how
passionate in their affairs.

may be: I think their hearts were tender away from guile; they had fire and
magic in their hearts, to transfer on silver screen. They’ve lost that
simplicity and beauty in them. The nostalgia is lost.
Whenever I hear old and ever green Hindi
filmi songs, a big question haunts my mind: wonder how those people were? Who
penned sweetest romantic songs, melodious music, and voice, honey to ears?
Played on screen as real life lovers? Those songs were composed earlier than
5o’s.”Jaane wo kaisi log they”…. (Whose love earned love?), who created
nostalgia an era before.
Now
the technology that offered more and more possibilities for the composer, it
drowned out the melody which in turn gradually became a musical noise.
Lastly,
the language and contents of Bollywood has changed, old songs were mostly
written by poets, who were master of their language. They rose from grass roots,
familiar with hardness of real life.

Here
is one of those songs, full of with fire of a passionate love, simplicity .The
tune of which lingers deep in subconscious for ever especially for some of us

there is life, there is poetry and there are songs…
Current
funda is to have lyrics matched to the beat and not vice versa. So, fitting in
lyrics to the music will often result in high pitched non-melodious songs.
But
few good songs do come up these days as well which are melodious and nice to
hear. Just the number are a bit less.

because present music directors are compelled to make songs to match the movie
content which is recently and primarily empty and nonsense. However good movies
do come up with good melodious songs even today.

Because the present Indian music is being influenced by the
western music. I hardly see any youngster listening to Indian classical music.
We
are getting so much obsessed by the western culture and so is the music. Listen
to rock and become a rock. Indian music is our soul. And a body without soul is
nothing.
Necessity
is the mother of all inventions. Here due to our necessity, Indian music
directors and composers are composing the music which is no longer the same as
it was.

They’ve
lost that simplicity and beauty in them.They’re full of caprice!!
C.Ramachandra was one of the most talented music composer
Bollywood has produced.
It is said that C Ramachandra was
flirting type man. When fully drunk, he would spill all beans about his
relationships with women, thus causing problems to the concerned women. In one
such party he made such remarks on Lata.

Lata
and Asha both stopped singing for him and thus his career ended. It’s sad that
Lata/Asha never mention about him anywhere in any function or interview, though
CR was mainly responsible for Lata’s success in early part of her career.
Lata
wanted C.R to marry her, for which he was not ready, since he was already
married. (Though after few months, he did marry a girl named Shanta, by going
to a state where Bigamy was not a crime).
The
same question when asked to Lata, she gave the answer to Kanekar, “There was a
recordist who used to talk rubbish about me everywhere.
